How to Start & Use the Generator

  1. Place the generator on a flat, stable surface outdoors.

  2. Check engine oil level before starting.

  3. Make sure all devices are disconnected before startup.

  4. Turn the fuel valve to the ON position.

  5. Set the choke as required (cold start).

  6. Pull the recoil starter or press the electric start (if equipped).

  7. Allow the generator to run for 1–2 minutes before connecting devices.

  8. Plug appliances one at a time, starting with the lowest wattage

 

During Operation

  • Keep the generator outdoors at all times.

  • Maintain proper ventilation and keep exhaust clear.

  • Monitor load levels and avoid exceeding rated capacity.

  • Keep the generator dry and protected from rain.

  • Do not move the generator while running.

 

Shutdown Procedure

  1. Turn off and unplug all connected devices.

  2. Let the generator run with no load for 1–2 minutes.

  3. Turn the engine switch to OFF.

  4. Close the fuel valve.

  5. Allow the generator to cool completely before storing.

 

Fuel & Oil Guidelines

  • Use fresh, clean gasoline only.

  • Do not refuel while the generator is running or hot.

  • Check oil level regularly.

  • Change oil according to manufacturer recommendations.

 

Basic Maintenance

  • Clean air filter regularly.

  • Check spark plug condition.

  • Inspect extension cords and connections.

  • Store in a dry, well-ventilated area when not in use.
